I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute interested in environmental, energy, and natural resource economics.
My current work explores the intersection of uncertainty, investment, and emissions regulation. More broadly, I combine comprehensive, unique datasets with applied econometric methods to answer policy-relevant questions on resource extraction and pollution abatement.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Arizona in 2024, and a B.A. from Sewanee: University of the South in 2019. I was born and raised in Myanmar.
